About Elizabeth Ball, LCSW

Hi, I'm Elizabeth
I opened my private practice in 2019 after many years working in community mental health, early childhood systems, and juvenile justice programs. My path into this work began in Morristown, Tennessee, where I grew up before attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I later moved to Texas as part of a national volunteer program working with adolescents and small churches.

I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin and earned my distinction as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas.

Over the course of my career, I have worked with children and families in a variety of roles, including Case Manager, Therapist, Juvenile Probation Officer, Director of a Children’s Outpatient Clinic, Treatment Director, Clinical Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Administrator. I have spent more than 20 years serving systems of care communities and programs in multiple capacities.

In 2014, I returned to Tennessee to serve as the Clinical Director and later the Project Director for an Early Childhood Mental Health system of care grant in Middle Tennessee. My work has also included contract management, service standards, program development, clinical and reflective supervision, licensing supervision, volunteer administration, grants management, and strategic planning.

I currently serve on the Board of the Association of Infant Mental Health in Middle Tennessee and on the advisory board of Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee.
